Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of MI Marketplace (the “Marketplace”), operated by Masterful Innovations Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account (buyer or seller) or using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy & Data Protection Notice.

2. Accounts (Buyers & Sellers)

• You must provide accurate information when registering an account.
• A single user may act as both buyer and seller using one account with multiple roles.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Payments & Escrow

• All payments for orders are made to the Marketplace first (platform wallet or payment account).
• Funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery or the order is automatically completed according to Marketplace rules.
• Only after completion do we release funds to the seller’s wallet or payout method.
• We may reverse or hold payouts in cases of disputes, suspected fraud, or chargebacks.

4. On‑Platform Communication Only

To protect buyers and sellers, all communication about orders must remain inside the Marketplace messaging and dispute tools. Sharing direct contact details is not allowed.

• Do not share phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, or physical addresses in messages.
• The system automatically scans messages for contact details and may flag or hide violating content.
• Repeated attempts to bypass this rule may result in penalties, including:
  • Warnings or temporary messaging restrictions.
  • Account review and possible suspension, blacklist, or closure.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the Marketplace for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
• Bypassing payment flows to transact outside the platform.
• Sharing misleading information or impersonating other users or organisations.

6. Data Protection & Privacy (Zimbabwe)

Masterful Innovations Pvt Ltd processes personal data in line with applicable Zimbabwean data protection legislation (including the Data Protection Act and related regulations).

• We collect and process only the data necessary to:
  • Create and manage your account.
  • Process orders, payments, and deliveries.
  • Provide support, fraud prevention, and platform security.
• By registering, you give us consent to process your data for these purposes.
• You have rights to access, correct, and request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• We do not disclose your phone number or email to other users; only delivery location details are shared with couriers and sellers as needed to fulfil orders.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy & Data Protection Notice from time to time. Continued use of the Marketplace after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
